Hello everyone! I’m new to the Abbey and looking to connect to spiritual community. I recently stepped away from my faith community, where I pastored for 7 years, partly due to theological differences, and partly to pursue more integrated work as a community social worker. While I’ve existed & led predominantly in evangelical contexts, I’ve personally been most influenced by the work of social justice and contemplative oriented theologians/spiritual leaders. I’m looking forward to having the freedom to explore other practices and streams of faith as I reconnect in meaningful ways to my own faith practice. Thanks for having me!
