These days of Celtic Advent invite us to readiness for the great wedding feast. As many of us preparing for Christmas know, the work of readying oneself for a celebration can feel stressful and full of obligation. And yet, this is a feast and a festival that is being prepared *for* us by God. There is detailed delight being made ready just for each of us. For our part, the invitation is to receive that good that is so abundant is coming for us that we can afford to act generously and freely in this moment.
