Artistic Afternoons (it's still light out where I am ;): Write an acrostic poem of things that you believe (or want to believe) are courageous. Begin each line with a letter of the word COURAGE (or, if you want to write a longer one, WILDERNESS COURAGE). A simple exercise, but it can invite us to be present to things in us we didn’t know were there, or didn’t realize were brave. (And share yours with us, if you write one—knowing that even that takes courage!)
