When, instead, our time with ourselves is spent trying to get our bodies and souls to “behave” how we might expect them to or striving to be something we’re not, we lose touch with this deep part of ourselves that knows its home. What might a return to the gift of yourself look like today? How might that open you up to your own wild desires (rather than trying to want what you believe you “should” want, when it comes to God)? What would “surrender” look like, when it’s to Love?
