Midday Meditation: “Beauty scatters the seeds of hope in us.” – Joan Chittister Take some time to find some small bit of beauty today (right now, if you can!), and spend some time with it. Let it nourish your soul and plant the seeds of more beauty to come. You may even want to do some contemplative prayer with something beautiful today, or perhaps some Visio Divina (see—meditate—pray—contemplate), allowing it to invite you into soul-searching conversation with God. But even just gazing for a moment, aware and present, can plant those seeds that bring new life and renew our hope. So, even if you only have thirty seconds before whatever it next, consider intentionally being a part of scattering the seeds of hope in your soul—and, therefore, in the world.
